Senior Transportation Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Transportation Project Manager to support the delivery of complex roadway and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in a project leadership capacity—guiding project execution, shaping teams, and building strong client partnerships. The ideal candidate has experience in urban and highway design and brings a proven ability to lead projects from concept through delivery while ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of transportation and roadway projects from inception through completion
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely execution
• Play an active role in project team selection and coordination, aligning the right technical expertise with project needs
• Develop, review, and oversee roadway design plans, specifications, and technical documentation
• Provide technical leadership and problem-solving throughout all phases of design and delivery
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ongoing engagement
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
• Support proposal development, scope definition, and cost estimating

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 10 years of transportation roadway design or related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Professional Engineer (PE) license

Additional Information

Relocation is an option for this position. Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

The range for this position is $150000 to $220000 per year.
