About the role

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Transportation Principal Project Manager to lead transformative transportation design projects for the dynamic and fast-growing Mobility team in Louisiana. This is a hybrid position combining remote work with in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from roundabouts and traffic signals to bridges, highways, and interchanges, ensuring quality and innovation.
  • Engage directly with clients throughout project pursuit, development, and delivery, guiding all phases of complex projects.
  • Mentor and empower project teams, fostering technical excellence and a collaborative spirit.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and plans, interfacing with clients and building robust project plans and schedules.
  • Support and lead initiatives with other Arcadis offices, sharing best practices and growing your professional network.
  • Communicate and lead meetings, orchestrate resources, and deliver engaging presentations, cultivating meaningful relationships and earning the trust of both clients and colleagues.
  • Promote Arcadis' commitment to quality and safety, upholding standards and contributing to an inclusive, high-performance culture.
  • Champion excellence by setting the standard for outstanding project delivery and shaping an inclusive, high-performance culture where everyone thrives.

Requirements

  • 20+ years of progressive highway design or project management experience, with deep expertise in LADOTD standards and procedures.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Louisiana Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Proven success leading and inspiring multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience managing large-scale transportation projects.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of LADOTD standards and procedures.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $136,400 - $170,500. Actual salaries may vary based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
