About the role

The Senior Transportation Engineer (Specialist) functions as a Project Manager responsible for leading and coordinating all phases of project development, from initial scoping through construction completion and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Create project plans and schedules, track progress, and deliver project milestones on schedule.
• Manage external and internal partnerships, establishing and maintaining relationships.
• Understand and apply the project development process through past working assignments.

Requirements

The position requires a Professional License. Applicants must provide a copy of their license prior to being hired. A valid driver's license is required when operating a State-owned or leased vehicle. A valid Professional Engineering License issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is required for appointment.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification. They must also provide a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ).
