Job Description and Duties

The Position involves planning, designing, and overseeing transportation projects. Responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing transportation plans and designs
Assessing traffic flow and safety issues
Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders
Maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations

Minimum Requirements

Minimum requirements include:

A Professional Engineer License
A valid driver’s license
A Statement of Qualifications (SOQ)

Special Requirements

Additional requirements include:

A valid driver’s license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Failure to submit a Statement of Qualifications will disqualify candidates from the hiring process.

Working Conditions

The position is located at 756 West Francisco Blvd., San Rafael, Marin County. Working conditions include:

Climate-controlled office environment
May require outdoor work and exposure to various weather conditions
Overtime and night work may be required
May be transferred to work at another construction field office or reassigned to work for another Supervising TE and/or a different project
