Senior Trademark Paralegal

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary trademark searches using USPTO, WIPO, and commercial databases
• Analyze search results and prepare detailed trademark clearance reports for attorney review
• Affiliate with U.S. trademark prosecution, including preparing and filing applications, drafting goods and services descriptions, and supporting Office Action responses
• Cook up with third-party search vendors throughout the trademark clearance process
• Monitor trademark deadlines and maintain accurate docketing to ensure timely filings
• Conduct legal research related to U.S. trademark law, procedures, and filing requirements
• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, reports, and client correspondence
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to deliver high-quality client service and efficient workflow

Requirements

• 5+ years of trademark paralegal experience, with a strong focus on U.S. trademark prosecution and clearance
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. trademark law, USPTO procedures, and electronic filing systems
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
• Law firm or professional services experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree and/or an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Experience coordinating third-party search vendors is a plus
