YOUR ROLE

• Manage process and workflow of US and foreign trademark filings, prosecution, renewals and conflicts (oppositions, cancellations, infringements, UDRPs and counterfeits).
• Manage trademark prosecution with the USPTO, including: preparing and filing new applications; drafting goods and services specifications; identifying and reviewing specimens of use; and preparing response submissions to the USPTO.
• Manage and assist with UDRPs and internet enforcement.
• Maintain accurate records in docketing systems.
• Support attorneys with full clearance searches, including coordinating with third-party search vendors when necessary.
• Work closely with attorneys and support staff to ensure cohesive and efficient workflow, supporting a high standard of client service.

YOUR IMPACT

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Trademark Paralegal in a law firm
• Deep knowledge of U.S. trademark rules and procedures
• Advanced proficiency with electronic legal research tools
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
• Clear, confident communicator who collaborates effectively with attorneys and peers
• Professional judgment, discretion, and a high standard of confidentiality
• Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and initiative in a fast-paced environment
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple matters, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines with ease
• Adapts readily to evolving responsibilities and strategic firm objectives
• Flexible and responsive, with the ability to adjust hours as needed to meet business and client demands
