About the role
The Senior Trademark Paralegal supports complex U.S. and international trademark portfolios. This high-impact position owns end-to-end trademark workflows, including filings, prosecution, renewals, and enforcement, while partnering closely with attorneys and clients.
YOUR IMPACT:
- Manage process and workflow of US and foreign trademark filings, prosecution, renewals and conflicts (oppositions, cancellations, infringements, UDRPs and counterfeits).
- Manage trademark prosecution with the USPTO, including: preparing and filing new applications; drafting goods and services specifications; identifying and reviewing specimens of use; and preparing response submissions to the USPTO.
- Manage and assist with UDRPs and internet enforcement.
- Maintain accurate records in docketing systems.
- Support attorneys with full clearance searches, including coordinating with third-party search vendors when necessary.
YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Trademark Paralegal in a law firm
- Deep knowledge of U.S. trademark rules and procedures
- Advanced proficiency with electronic legal research tools
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Clear, confident communicator who collaborates effectively with attorneys and peers
- Professional judgment, discretion, and a high standard of confidentiality
- Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing multiple matters, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines with ease
