Senior Trade Operations Analyst

Responsibilities
- Analyze access, service, and trade performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations that improve business outcomes.
- Develop analytical reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting findings, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor operational trends and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and patient access across distribution and specialty pharmacy partners.
- Investigate data discrepancies, performance variations, purchasing behavior changes, and distribution trends to support timely resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support operational excellence.
- Partner with trade operations leadership to create recurring and ad hoc reporting on inventory, sales, trade spend, and customer performance.
- Prepare quarterly business reviews and operational updates for internal stakeholders and distribution partners.
- Identify opportunities to enhance trade processes, reporting capabilities, and operational workflows through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with account management, analytics, reimbursement, and commercial teams to ensure alignment with program requirements.
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, trade operations, specialty pharmacy, analytics, account management, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution channels, including wholesalers, specialty distributors, and specialty pharmacies.
- Experience analyzing operational data, creating reports, and developing business insights.
- Ability to identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and recommend process improvements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with reporting and data analysis tools preferred.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
