About the role

The Senior Third Party Risk & Controls Specialist will be responsible for managing and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendors and partners. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing and implementing controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for third-party vendors and partners
• Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to third-party risk management
• Monitor and report on third-party risk trends and developments
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate third-party risk management practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in third-party risk management or similar field
• Experience with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and PCI-DSS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools
• Understanding of vendor management processes and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
