Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion
- Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
- Engages with and maintains a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Proactively uses tools such as CE3 to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Demonstrates scientific expertise and passion using approved resources to present medically accurate information to HCPs.
- Conducts in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) discussing product-related scientific information consistent with label.
- Organizes external speaker programs, selecting approved speakers and facilitating scheduling and logistics.
- Maintains expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
- Engages real-time medical support through Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex inquiries.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborates proactively with other field teams to ensure the best Customer Experience (Cx) for HCPs.
- Gathers and shares relevant insights internally to enable BMS to better serve its customers.
- Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing BMS conduct.
Requirements
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
- Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to help physicians serve their patients.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining credibility with key customers and stakeholders via a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience in cardiovascular required.
- Proven track record in account management, superior selling competencies, and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.

This position requires operating a company-provided vehicle. Offers are contingent upon meeting "Qualified Driver" requirements, including being at least 21 years old, holding a valid driver’s license in good standing, and maintaining an acceptable driving risk level as determined by the company.
Pay
Field - United States: $134,390 - $162,843 (full-time basis). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. The starting pay rate accounts for job characteristics such as required skills, location, schedule, and experience. Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience.
