About the role
Your Job As a Testing & Validation Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing new automotive products to life. You’ll work in a lab-focused environment, building test setups, running experiments, and seeing how products perform under real-world conditions. You’ll take products from concept to reality, developing and executing validation plans that ensure performance, reliability, and durability before they ever reach the road. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and solving real engineering challenges alongside a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Bring new automotive antenna products to life by developing and executing validation plans that ensure performance in real-world conditions
- Design and build hands-on test setups, fixtures, and methods to evaluate product reliability and functionality
- Run mechanical and environmental testing (vibration, thermal, durability) on prototypes and production parts
- Turn test data into insight, analyzing results to understand material behavior, product performance, and failure points
- Investigate and troubleshoot failures, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive improvements
- Support Design of Experiments (DOE) and validation activities to solve complex engineering and production challenges
- Collaborate with internal teams and external labs to keep testing on track and aligned with program milestones
- Communicate results and recommendations clearly through reports and presentations to stakeholders and customers
- Help evolve lab capabilities by improving test methods, tools, and validation processes

- Working knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals (e.g., stress, strain, fatigue, thermal effects)
- Experience documenting and communicating technical results (e.g., lab reports, test summaries, presentations)
- Basic proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and test results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including internal teams and external partners (e.g., customers or suppliers)
- Less than 5% travel
