Skill Requirements

  • B.S./M.S. preferred - in electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, or material science.
  • 5+ years' experience in Quality assurance in semiconductor industry with good knowledge of failure analysis.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fabrication, inspection, assembly, and test methods.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor processing and analysis equipment is desirable.
  • Ability to take a schematic, layout, and failure signature of a device and take all steps necessary to identify the failing circuitry is preferred.
  • Experience with handling semiconductor wafers, using microscopes, probe stations, test equipment, and curve tracing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAM, SEM, FIB cross-sectioning, and de-processing is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple tasks with flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
  • Understanding of the key elements of Reliability Engineering and Qualification procedures (MIL_STD, JEDEC, IPC, etc.) and problem-solving methodology.
  • Excellent analytical skills and good written and verbal communications skills are essential.
  • Self-motivated, hard-working, fast learner and well-organized
  • Highly responsible, a good team player with good presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with common office computer software programs such as MS-Office

Pay

The Salary Range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000. Actual salary offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates’ experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
