Senior Test Manager

About the role

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Test Manager within our AFLCMC/HBG group at Hanscom AFB, MA. The C2ISR Division provides support for various defense programs, including the U-2 aircraft, JSTARS, AF DCGS, IBS, and others. The Global Network Systems (GNS) Branch supports AF DCGS NIT, ETP, and GCCS-AF (I).

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering assistance applying system engineering knowledge.
• Support test planning, validation, and verification activities ensuring compliance with DoD, Air Force, HB, and AFLCMC test plans, policies, instructions, and procedures.
• Prepare test plans and procedures supporting program test activities.
• Develop Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs).
• Prepare and review test analyses and reports.
• Develop Test & Evaluation (T&E) segments of acquisition documentation.
• Maintain oversight of test execution, including certification testing and training.
• Support execution of test cases, evaluations, and demonstrations.
• Review and analyze design documentation, engineering drawings, specifications, performance reports, and trade-off studies.
• Teach test engineering and test management courses as needed.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship with a Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a professional engineering discipline.
• 8+ years of directly related experience, preferably in a DoD setting.
• Test Manager's Course certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Agile methods and testing in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps environments.
• Understanding of cloud architectures and their impact on testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with functional and physical configuration audits (FCA/PCA).
