About the role
BAE Systems is seeking a Test Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile, fast-paced development environment. The ideal candidate will support the development and implementation of a Space Ground mission-focused software cloud application.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and implementation of a Space Ground mission-focused software cloud application.
- Supports the Rogue Technical Team to accomplish program tasks, provide technical solutions, and support system integration on the Rogue program.
- Coordinates with the Rogue Technical Team to accomplish program tasks, provide technical solutions, and support system integration on the Rogue program.
- Supports customer meeting and briefings as necessary.
- Occasional business travel to customer locations in support of product demonstrations and customer meetings.
Requirements
- Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to engage constructively with peers and technical leads to communicate the technical approach, trade-offs, and technical decisions.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Understanding and application of modern software development and systems engineering practices, design principles, techniques, and technologies.
- Highly motivated and able to work well in both team and solo settings.
- Experience with developing systems engineering process for planning dev, integration and test.
- Capable of writing detailed test procedures.
- Capable of learning new systems quickly.
- Able to read and follow procedures and flow diagrams.
Qualifications
- Holding an active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
- Must have 8+ years of related experience or equivalent experience, training, and/or certifications.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment.
- Motivated self-starter with good problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Experience with Jenkins, Docker, Postman, GitHub/GitLab, Java, XML, JSON, SQL, Javascript, and AWS, C2S.
Skills

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035
