Senior Test Engineer (Manual and Automation)

About the role

Joining GDIT means joining a team that supports the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Federally Facilitated Exchange (FFE) program. GDIT is dedicated to ensuring that today is safe and tomorrow is smarter through continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Scrum meetings and run test case execution.
• Create reports and document defects to support continuous improvement activities.
• Track defects in defect repositories.
• Execute assigned testing activities within specified time frames to meet committed delivery dates.
• Execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, and functionality/usability testing as assigned.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (include names and graduation dates from institutions).
• 3+ years of experience with end-to-end Agile manual and automated software testing.
• Experience with development of test scripts and functional testing using Java and JavaScript (Python preferred).
• Hands-on experience with testing administration tools such as Rational and CQ.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must consistently deliver work that meets or exceeds established standards.
• Must have established residency in the U.S. for at least 3 out of the last 5 years.
• Must be able to obtain a Federal Public Trust.

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $85,093 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
