Senior Test Engineer

About the role

Leidos is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Test Engineer to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes
• Performing User Interface testing against requirements
• Identifying data to be used during testing
• Developing automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress
• Developing automation tests using Eclipse and Java
• Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scripts
• Testing for accessibility
• Defining test strategies for future capabilities
• Managing project artifacts
• Determining appropriate project methodologies and practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Candidates without bachelor’s degrees will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require 4 years of additional experience.
• Twelve or more years’ related technical experience
• Eight or more years of test engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g., Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Java)
• Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)
• GIT
• Linux
• Putty

Pay

Pay Range: $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
