About the role

The Senior Test Engineer plays a crucial role in planning, executing, and analyzing tests for mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems. This role supports development, qualification, and production efforts and involves hands-on work with hardware, instrumentation, and test automation.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and analyze development, qualification, and production tests for hardware systems and subsystems
Design, build, and maintain test fixtures, ground support equipment, and instrumentation for bench-level and system-level testing
Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, acceptance criteria, and test reports aligned with program requirements
Execute functional, environmental, performance, and acceptance testing, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate test results into design, process, and quality improvements

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in test engineering, development testing, integration and test, or manufacturing test roles
Hands-on experience testing complex hardware systems in high-reliability environments
Experience designing and executing tests across multiple technical domains (e.g., mechanical, electrical, thermal, or integrated systems)
Familiarity with test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, sensors, and laboratory equipment
Ability to produce clear test documentation and communicate technical results effectively

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting both early development and production test environments
Background working closely with manufacturing or operations teams
Experience using test data to drive continuous improvement and design iteration
Exposure to test automation, infrastructure scaling, or data quality initiatives

Pay

The target salary range for this role is $150,000-$250,000 (actual range may vary based on experience).
