Senior Test Data Imaging Support

About the role

Environmental Test (ET) is an engineering organization within Raytheon that supports all programs across the company. ET provides testing capability for every phase of the product life cycle, including mechanical shock, electrodynamic vibration, salt fog, climatic environments, high temperature quartz lamp testing, structural testing, test fixture design, and custom instrumentation installations and data acquisition and imaging support.

Responsibilities

• Capture test events using high-speed and standard-speed video and still photography
• Collaborate with Integrated Product (IP) Teams to design and implement imaging solutions based on testing requirements
• Set up, configure, operate, and monitor imaging equipment and associated systems
• Collect, verify, and archive imaging data with high attention to detail
• Troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain imaging equipment to resolve technical issues
• Support test engineers and internal customers with imaging expertise throughout the test lifecycle

Requirements

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years of relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, twelve (12) years of relevant experience is required
• Experience in video production
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with high-speed cameras (e.g., Photron, Phantom) performing field testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in electronics technology, digital media, photography, mechanical technology, or a related field
• Knowledge of lighting techniques for test environments
• Familiarity with environmental or mechanical testing processes
• Experience with video editing or image analysis software
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience diagnosing technical equipment issues
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify data accuracy
• Team player who can work well with others under stressful and highly dynamic situations while maintaining flexibility to changing conditions

Benefits

The salary range for this role is $107,500 - $204,500.
