Senior Test Automation (SDET) Team Lead, Platform Services

For our client, a leader in the Healthcare space, we are seeking a Senior Test Automation (SDET) Team Lead for Platform Services. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end test planning for software releases
• Define test scope, strategy, and timelines at the release level
• Drive alignment on dependencies, milestones, and priorities
• Identify quality risks early and implement mitigation plans
• Escalate blockers and quality concerns to stakeholders
• Lead effective testing strategies for both manual and automated efforts
• Organize and report on testing efforts using tools like Jira

Qualifications

• 10+ years in test automation and software testing with complex software validation expertise
• Proficient in automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, TestNG
• Fluency in object-oriented programming, especially Java or C#
• Experienced with CI/CD tools, including GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Proven leadership in testing for large-scale software releases
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Desire for improving quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives

Pay

$138,000 – $180,000 annually
