We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Test Automation Engineer to support the quality assurance and release readiness of applications on the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test solutions that ensure system reliability, performance, and business process integrity. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, developers, and project teams to validate system functionality, improve testing efficiency, and drive continuous quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to large-scale enterprise applications and play a critical role in delivering high-quality releases.
Location
This is an onsite role based in Cincinnati, OH.
Your Role
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for applications within the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
- Create comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data to support functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing activities.
- Execute automated and manual test cases as required to validate application functionality and business processes.
- Analyze test execution results, identify issues, and document defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Track defects through resolution, validate fixes, and perform re-testing as needed.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production release validation activities.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across end-to-end business processes, system integrations, and application enhancements.
- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks, repositories, and reusable test assets.
- Provide regular testing progress updates, metrics, and quality reports to project stakeholders and management.
- Support release readiness assessments and contribute to risk identification and mitigation activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to test automation, quality assurance practices, testing standards, and release efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and promote best practices in software testing and quality engineering.
Your Skills And Experience
- Proven experience in software testing and test automation for enterprise applications.
- Experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks and reusable test assets.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience in functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and automated test cases.
- Experience managing defects using defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.
Pay
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $73,150 - $174,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on multiple factors including geographic location, education and qualifications, certifications and licenses, relevant experience and skills, seniority and performance, market and business considerations, and internal pay equity. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
