About the role

As a Test Automation Engineer, you are involved in the automated verification and validation of products made by engineers in a development process. Your technical and professional knowledge of Test Automation, programming, test environments, and methodologies is solid. With your expertise in one or more test tools and techniques, you can independently design and execute test automation solutions. You stay updated with the latest developments in your field.

As a QA Automation Expert, you will develop automation solutions, create tools strategy, define automation approaches, evaluate tools, perform technical feasibility studies, build business cases for ROI, and estimate automation efforts. You will implement automation solutions across projects to deliver cost and effort savings to customers. You may also provide consultancy services to customers independently when required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop automation solutions for verification and validation of engineering products.
  • Design and execute test automation solutions independently.
  • Create and implement tools strategy and automation approaches.
  • Evaluate test tools and perform technical feasibility studies.
  • Build business cases for ROI and estimate automation efforts.
  • Implement automation solutions in various projects to deliver cost and effort savings.
  • Provide consultancy services to customers as needed.

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $82,080 - $193,440. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as geographic location, education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, market considerations, and internal pay equity. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on position and applicable laws.
