Senior Test and Manufacturing Automation Engineer

Role Overview The Senior Test and Manufacturing Automation Engineer develops, maintains, and upgrades automated equipment, processes, and databases for global factories. They collaborate with R&D and operations to support new product launches and enhance operational efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities Support operations through data analysis to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.Troubleshoot and analyze root causes of technical problems.Design and modify automated test and manufacturing equipment, utilizing electrical schematics, mechanical CAD, test software, and databases.Work with innovative equipment to meet production requirements.Support Standard Work implementation, perform quality checks, and collect data.Collaborate with development, manufacturing, and production teams to resolve technical issues.Provide feedback on design for manufacturability and testability.Participate in product evaluation tests and review meetings.Store test specifications and gauge R&R results securely. Qualifications & Skills: BS in Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, Automation, Controls, Robotics, or Computer Science.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in LabVIEW, C++, C#, Matlab, or VB; CAD software; electrical, mechanical, and controls troubleshooting.Experience with precision measurement devices, data acquisition, and industry communication protocols.Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.Familiarity with SQL databases and mechanical schematics. Preferred Skills: Over 3 years in automation and controls, with experience in electric motors or rotating machinery.Knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems, blueprints, and schematics.Experience with database structures, machine communication protocols, and data acquisition. This is an onsite role, and candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
