Senior Territory Sales Representative
About the role
Ready to take your door-to-door sales career to the next level? Leverage your proven track record to become a trusted advisor and community leader at TDS Telecom. You’ll introduce homeowners to cutting-edge fiber internet, TV, and phone services, transforming how they live, work, and play.
Responsibilities
- Own your territory by knocking on 60+ doors daily and engaging 15–20 homeowners in meaningful conversations.
- Drive results by helping 1–3 families upgrade to faster, more reliable internet every day.
- Generate new customer sales by presenting and selling Internet, TV, Voice, and Mobile services at residential doors and community events.
- Answer questions, close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of activity and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth installation and excellent customer experience.
- Travel to other markets to support DFN launches, increase penetration rates, and develop relationships with local partners.
Requirements
- 1+ years of direct (door-to-door) sales experience.
- Eligibility for a seller’s permit and/or solicitor’s license as required by the market.
- Access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Door-to-door sales experience in the broadband/fiber industry preferred.
- 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to follow up with customers in a timely manner.
- Advanced computer literacy with familiarity in home electronics, computers, and high-speed internet.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to educate customers on cable, voice, and data services.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
- Enthusiastic, persuasive, persistent, and able to handle rejection in the selling process.

Pay
The listed salary includes both base pay and potential earnings from meeting sales quotas. The final offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and role-specific competencies. With uncapped commission incentives, you’ll have unlimited earning potential.
Pay range: $62,200.00/year – $101,000.00/year.
Schedule
- Manage your own 40-hour workweek (9 AM–9 PM, Monday–Saturday).
- Hybrid perks: spend 20–25% of your time on admin work from home.
