Senior Territory Manager (VA, DC, MD)

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the DC, Maryland and Virginia territory by building strong agency relationships and driving profitable commercial P&C business.
• Spend most of your time in-market—meeting with agency partners, increasing submission flow, and shaping a high-quality book of business aligned to GUARD’s underwriting appetite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in territory management, production underwriting, or broker distribution.
• Experience growing a book of business through agency relationships.
• Knowledge of commercial P&C (Workers’ Comp, BOP, Auto, Umbrella).
• Familiarity with the DC, Maryland and Virginia market and agency environment.
• Experience using data and metrics to inform decisions.
• Clear and effective communication with agency partners and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills and independent problem-solving in complex situations.

Pay

• $105,000-$130,000 USD + performance-based bonus potential and use of a company car.

Schedule

• This is a high travel role with regular in-person agency visits.
