Senior Territory Business Manager

About the role
The Senior Territory Business Manager is responsible for territory sales and dealer activities, including selling Sharp Copier and Imaging Systems through dealers and attaining assigned quotas. This role involves dealer visitation, sales training, market coverage, product information dissemination, dealer performance monitoring, and competitive analysis.
Responsibilities
- Work with the VP or Director of Sales to ensure adequate market coverage by building relationships with assigned dealers and prospects.
- Provide accurate forecasting of monthly sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with assigned dealers and major accounts.
- Effectively communicate Sharp programs and promotions to dealers.
- Train dealers’ sales representatives on the features, advantages, and benefits of the entire Sharp product line-up.
- Manage dealer performance to expectations, including:
- Grow revenue to exceed assigned targets.
- Grow market share to company-defined expectations.
- Grow the number of sales representatives actively selling Sharp products.
- Actively market and sell within the assigned territory.
- Manage the timeline and travel of Sharp team members to support sales and training activities.
- Ensure dealers’ service, technical, and specialist resources maintain training and certifications.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to support dealers.
- Function as the main contact for assigned dealers and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Manage expense expectations and budgets.
- Work with dealers in all areas of their business, including purchase planning, credit lines, inventory management, marketing promotions, and product launches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in selling Copier and Imaging Systems through the dealer channel.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Consistently performs over assigned budgets.
- Good knowledge of sales, service, and administrative functions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Up to 80% territory travel required.

Pay
The starting salary range is $78,000 USD - $111,000 USD, excluding bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and other forms of compensation or benefits. The final salary will be determined based on experience, education, training, certification, and location. Eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards may apply.
