Senior Technology Vendor Manager
Responsibilities
- Provide relationship management and negotiation for a portfolio of medium-spend Technology contracts and support Senior Vendor Managers as appropriate.
- Define contractual Service Level Agreements to measure Vendor Performance.
- Develop and Document Exit Strategies as appropriate.
- Key management interface with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with systems management team to determine the needs of the firm, as it pertains to vendors and vendor agreements.
- Communicate to management and key stakeholders, the contract risks and exceptions to established standards.
- Pivotal role in overseeing vendor relationships and ensuring operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or Engineering; advance degree desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing technology projects, functions, and with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience with commercial contract negotiation, strategic sourcing practices, vendor dashboards, strategic cost reduction initiatives, and vendor quality turnaround.
- Strong strategic skills for vendor negotiations.
- Track record of successful execution of cross-functional strategic initiatives and significant change projects preferred.
- Understanding of market competitiveness, emerging trends, and ability to provide global sourcing intelligence.
- Creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer.
- Able to communicate effectively and motivate team and others; able to deliver persuasive and credible presentations to all levels of the organization.
- Able to facilitate and drive change in a fast-paced and “ever-changing” environment leveraging strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong with managing ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Pay
Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 Base Salary + Annual Target Bonus

The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
