Senior Technology Project Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Project Manager 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Project Manager 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Program Management Office supporting enterprise-wide modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $60–65/hr. on W2

What's the Job?

• Lead a large-scale enterprise data platform modernization initiative focused on retiring legacy systems and migrating applications and data assets to strategic platforms.
• Establish and manage program governance, reporting, and executive communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Develop and maintain project roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risk registers, and financial tracking to drive successful delivery.
• Coordinate discovery, assessment, and migration activities across multiple teams including cloud, data, security, and infrastructure.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and facilitate decision-making to support project success.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of project, program, or portfolio management experience within large-scale technology organizations.
• Proven experience leading complex infrastructure transformation, data platform modernization, and cloud migration projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, distributed computing, and cloud transformation programs.
• Experience managing multimillion-dollar programs with multiple workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
