What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for all aspects of technology portfolio management including project ideation, scoping, prioritization, approval and activation;
  • Spearhead value and benefit realization management across the technology portfolio, aligning project investments with long-term corporate strategy and measurable business outcomes;
  • Support portfolio governance framework, executing change control, approval gates, and risk/issue escalation to ensure consistent delivery;
  • Define, establish, and implement enhancements to portfolio process definition, procedural documentation, tool requirements and end user training;
  • Support cost optimization processes, including alignment with software rationalization and vendor management organizations;
  • Elevate awareness of cross-portfolio dependencies and impacts;
  • Collaborate, delegate and oversee analytic deliverables with Portfolio and Business Operations Analysts;
  • Drive and own completion of special projects (up to 10%);
  • Deliver on ad-hoc requests as required (up to 10%).

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 7+ years combined IT experience in strategic portfolio management and demand management, with strong operational financial acumen preferred;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field;
  • Experience supporting large technology portfolios, including financial oversight of project and operational costs in a multi-stakeholder environment;
  • Experience overseeing portfolio value and benefits realization frameworks, ensuring technology initiatives deliver measurable business value, operational efficiency, and expected ROI, preferred;
  • Demonstrable experience building and managing stakeholder relationships across Technology, Finance, and Business leadership;
  • Demonstrable work experience with reporting and visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel visualizations);
  • Experience supporting portfolio governance frameworks, including change control, approval gates, and risk/issue escalation processes;
  • Demonstrable experience with a PPM tool (e.g., Clarity, Planview, Align) preferred;
  • Ability to present materials to management to drive decision making;
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization;
  • Exhibits critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work and adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment with consistent change;
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office online and collaboration tools;
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications desired: Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
