Senior Technology Finance & TBM Manager

About the role

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is searching for a Senior Technology Finance & TBM Manager for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in Dallas, TX. The role will initially allow remote work; however, beginning January 2027, onsite presence in Dallas 4 days per week will be required with no flexibility on the onsite expectation. This highly visible, hands-on role will support Technology Finance and Technology Business Management within a large Global Banking & Markets technology organization. The successful candidate will bring significant banking technology finance experience and deep knowledge of technology cost allocations, Apptio, project portfolio management, and IT financial management. This is not a strategy-only or executive oversight position. The individual must be comfortable working directly with financial data, allocation methodologies, reporting, portfolio information, and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage technology cost allocation methodologies, including allocation of costs from Technology and other non-revenue-generating functions to revenue-generating business lines.
• Support Technology Business Management capabilities including cost transparency, Bill of IT, cost allocation, TCO, unit costing, and financial analytics.
• Utilize Apptio to support technology financial management, allocation analysis, reporting, and related business processes.
• Perform detailed financial data validation, reconciliation, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Support project portfolio management processes, including financial and portfolio analysis utilizing CA PPM / Clarity and related tools.
• Analyze technology spending, cost drivers, consumption patterns, and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain management reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and financial analysis for Technology and Finance leadership.
• Partner with Technology Finance, Business Management, Enterprise Data, Architecture, and other stakeholders.
• Validate cost models, allocation logic, financial data, service taxonomies, and reporting outputs.
