Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures to ensure safety and functionality.
- Inspect, diagnose, and document wear, damage, and repair needs using blueprints and manuals.
- Lead and oversee work of less-experienced associates, providing hands-on training and guidance.
- Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, parts inventory, and contractor coordination to meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate heavy machinery and company vehicles following safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Compile and report budget and expense information, including warranty claims and purchase records.
- Promote adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Option 1: Vocational or technical certification and 3 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
- Option 2: 6 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
- Commercial driving record meeting specific criteria:
- No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
- No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
- No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
- No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $33.00 - $63.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
