About the role

The Sr. Technical Writer is responsible for authoring, reviewing, editing, and maintaining high quality technical documentation for EPC Renewable projects, including Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions. They ensure consistency and clarity in documentation and support audits and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Author, review, edit, and maintain high quality technical documentation for EPC projects, including Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions ensuring consistency and clarity.
  • Maintain consistency in style, terminology, formatting, and document structure across all project deliverables.
  • Support audits and compliance activities by preparing, organizing, and updating required technical documents.
  • Work directly with engineering, project, construction, quality, proposal, and procurement management teams to gather technical information and ensure complex concepts and processes are accurately documented.
  • Manage version control, coordinate multidisciplinary review, oversee updates throughout the project life cycle.
  • Utilize document management systems and authoring tools (MS office, Adobe, SharePoint) to track, store and publish documentation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation processes, templates, and standards within the organization.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence across teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in EPC or EPC Renewable projects.
  • Experience translating complex technical information into concise, and applicable documentation for production teams.
  • Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to technical accuracy and clarity.
  • Familiar with documentation standards, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary project coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and influence at levels.

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must be able to see images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far.
  • Must be able to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters.
  • Must be able to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and influence at levels.

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm local time.
