Senior Technical Writer

About the role

A Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for creating clear and concise technical documentation that supports product development and user adoption. This includes writing user manuals, API guides, and other technical resources.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers to understand product features and user needs.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and aligned with product development timelines.
• Provide training and support to users through various channels including online forums and webinars.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical writing or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language.
• Experience working with AI tools to enhance content creation and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for creating interactive content.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
