About the role
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex hardware systems (e.g., controllers, embedded systems, analog/digital circuits, RF/microwave systems).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Oversee hardware validation, testing, and troubleshooting processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing) to ensure product success.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in hardware design methodologies.
- Review and approve technical documentation, schematics, and layout designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to define requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in hardware engineering.
Qualifications
- Requires BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience in leading hardware/embedded systems design projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering successful embedded system products.
- Strong ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and interface well with peers and management in a corporate setting.
- Proficient in analysis, simulation and implementation of embedded control systems, data converters, RF/Microwave systems, analog and digital filters.
- Knowledge of atomic clocks, precision timing/navigation and related fields is preferred.
- Experience in using FPGA/CPLD is desired.

- Annual base salary range: $91,000–$232,000 (dependent on job location, skills, and experience).
