About the role
Ibotta is seeking a Sr. Technical Sourcer to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. The ideal candidate will partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers focusing on passive candidate search and developing pipelines of talent for positions across Engineering, Data, Analytics, and Product. This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States. A relocation bonus is offered for those not based in Denver.
Responsibilities
- Technical sourcing across the full Technology organization, including Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Architecture, and Product Management
- Partner closely with Hiring Managers and Technical Recruiters to understand evolving hiring needs, team dynamics, and success profiles across all of our technical teams
- Build pipelines and proactively identify, engage, and nurture passive talent through advanced research, market mapping, and multi-channel outreach
- Participate in special projects and initiatives including continuous improvement related to all sourcing techniques and process flows while leveraging technology / automation
- Influence hiring teams with data-driven recommendations around talent market realities and sourcing prioritization

Requirements
- 5+ years of technical sourcing / recruiting experience with a minimum of 2 years in an in-house recruiting environment
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
- Proven success delivering passive pipelines for hard-to-fill or high-volume Technical teams
- Experience building and utilizing a variety of creative sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research
- Demonstrated ability to embrace new technologies, including AI-powered tools, to work more effectively, uncover talent insights, and drive better recruiting outcomes
- ATS experience (Ashby is ideal) with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
- A proactive vs reactive, sourcing mindset with the confidence to communicate insights, challenges, and recommendations directly to leaders
- Flexibility to jump in and support searches across any vertical of the business whenever bandwidth shifts or high-priority roles emerge
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision

- Proven success in sourcing for technical roles
- Strong understanding of the recruitment process and ability to navigate complex hiring scenarios
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passion for using data to inform sourcing strategies and improve candidate engagement
