Senior Technical Service Representative

About the role

Corbion is seeking a Sr. Technical Service Representative with strong wholesale bakery manufacturing experience, in both breads and cakes. In this role, you will travel 75% of the time to key accounts and aid customers in solving bakery operational problems and formulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide business insights to current customers and identify and develop new opportunities
• Execute customer account plans
• Collaborate with client’s management team
• Communicate effectively with Corbion’s key account team
• Assist Corbion's R&D with testing and development of new technologies
• Serve on internal customer teams to collaborate regarding risks and opportunities
• Develop sales through testing and demonstrating Corbion products
• Review procedures and processes in client facilities providing technical solutions to existing problems
• Participate in plant start-ups that often require two weeks of continuous travel
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• AIB Graduate and/or 10+ years’ experience in baking
• Extensive large wholesale baking background with management experience in operations
• Excellent understanding of ingredient functionality, formulation, fully automated baking processes, and operation of the equipment
• Solid understanding of formulation and how to build a formula from scratch
• Ability to start a project from conception, product development, R&D testing in our labs, and then implement through plant trials
• Successful collaboration with multiple internal teams and customers
• Excellent process problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience developing and delivering seminars and training programs both internally and to customers
• Must be self-motivated with excellent written, electronic, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel extensively, both domestically (75%) and internationally occasionally
• Must be competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Pay

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, and education.
