Senior Technical Sales Representative

About the role

ADP is hiring a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, you will build and enhance the platforms that power ADP's comprehensive human capital management (HCM) solutions. You will work within an agile team to deliver high-quality, scalable software that serves millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software applications using modern technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features that meet business and client needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and help foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience with Java, C#, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Experience with web application development, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
