Senior Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
• Plan, organize, and control resources and processes to meet project objectives
• Provide a comprehensive view of the project to the organization and all stakeholders
• Engage in all project planning activities, define project governance, and outline roles and responsibilities
• Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage project outcomes
• Communicate project progress regularly to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct risk assessments and log any risks or issues in weekly reporting to senior leadership

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience delivering medium to large initiatives
• 4+ years of experience in an Agile environment
• 4+ years of experience with project management tools such as JIRA or MS Project
• 4+ years of experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Qualifications

• Industry certifications (PMP, CSM, CAPM) are a plus
• Prior experience with AI tools such as Copilot is a plus
• Experience leading technical projects in card processing industry and software development is a plus
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders

• Practical application of project management concepts
• Ability to facilitate the achievement of business objectives
• Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams
