Senior Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
- Plan, organize, and control resources and processes to meet project objectives
- Provide a comprehensive view of the project to the organization and all stakeholders
- Engage in all project planning activities, define project governance, and outline roles and responsibilities
- Ensure success criteria are defined upfront to promote alignment and actively manage project outcomes
- Communicate project progress regularly to stakeholders, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct risk assessments and log any risks or issues in weekly reporting to senior leadership
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive project management experience delivering medium to large initiatives
- 4+ years of experience in an Agile environment
- 4+ years of experience with project management tools such as JIRA or MS Project
- 4+ years of experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Qualifications
- Industry certifications (PMP, CSM, CAPM) are a plus
- Prior experience with AI tools such as Copilot is a plus
- Experience leading technical projects in card processing industry and software development is a plus
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders
Skills
- Practical application of project management concepts
- Ability to facilitate the achievement of business objectives
- Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams
