Senior Technical Program Manager (Supercomputing Operations)

Azure Specialized Compute drives the hardware roadmap, software, and services that enable users to run technical computing workloads in Azure—from batch workloads to Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) to traditional High Performance Compute (HPC) simulations to remote visualization. We provide the most scalable general-purpose systems as well as the most powerful GPU-accelerated systems for customers tackling some of the most difficult questions in science and industry.
Azure Specialized Compute is seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our customer-facing Technical Program Management team. This role will support key customers as they embark on their cloud journey, working with partners to fuel the growth of the Specialized Azure platform.

Responsibilities
- Drive highly impactful cross-organization initiatives spanning multiple Azure products and services.
- Manage complex programs/projects to successful completion as a self-starter.
- Mentor junior team members and support the Product Management team.
- Collaborate with key customers and partners to advance the Specialized Azure platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Pay
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. A different range applies to specific work locations, including the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, where the base pay range is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
