About the role
The Senior Technical Program Manager will drive end-to-end software program delivery, establish and drive the software delivery operating rhythm, proactively identify and manage program risks, partner with cross-functional teams, and establish a data-driven approach to program reporting.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end software program delivery, ensuring successful execution against committed milestones, including validation readiness, feature readiness, and preparation for the first customer go-live.
- Establish and drive the software delivery operating rhythm, including sprint cadence, delivery metrics, velocity tracking, scope management, and release processes to improve execution, transparency, and predictability.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues, driving timely resolution, removing obstacles, and escalating with clear context, impact, and recommended actions when needed.
- Partner with Engineering, QA, Product, Infrastructure, and leadership teams to create alignment around scope, priorities, and milestones, fostering ownership and ensuring predictable execution against agreed delivery commitments.
- Drive delivery discipline across software initiatives by helping teams stay focused on committed priorities, removing execution friction, and enabling predictable delivery that supports customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Establish a data-driven approach to program reporting by defining meaningful delivery metrics, providing transparent status visibility, and communicating progress, risks, and forecasts with the rigor and clarity required for executive and board-level discussions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience managing software delivery for complex, multi-team products, with a demonstrated ability to drive execution across large-scale initiatives.
- Proven track record delivering enterprise software solutions, including customer go-lives, complex implementations, and environments requiring high levels of quality, reliability, and operational discipline.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum execution at scale, including the ability to leverage delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, and work-in-progress (WIP) to improve predictability and execution.
- Strong fluency in delivery analytics and program management tools (e.g., Jira), with the ability to develop data-driven forecasts, assess delivery health, and provide insights.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to present objective, evidence-based updates, articulate risks and trade-offs, and confidently defend delivery forecasts with senior leadership.
- Experience working in healthcare IT or other regulated industries strongly preferred, with an understanding of environments where quality, compliance, validation, and operational reliability are critical.
Pay
Base salary up to $180,000.
