About the role

The Senior Automotive ASPICE Assessor will collaborate across NVIDIA's fastest-paced automotive programs, including NDAS DriveAV and Hardware platform development, ensuring engineering teams reach and sustain world-class process maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out and assist with ASPICE (PAM 4.0) and HW SPICE (HW Engineering PRM/PAM 3.0) assessments involving systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, supporting and management processes
  • Work with AI-assisted assessment tooling to review, validate, and cluster findings; apply engineering judgment to identify systemic root causes and prioritize what matters most for each program
  • Facilitate structured findings workshops with development teams — presenting evidence, discussing ratings, and evaluate improvement priorities in a constructive, process-focused way
  • Translate findings into concrete, trackable improvement items; follow up with team leads and program managers through to closure
  • Communicate assessment status, trends, and risks clearly to senior leadership and steering groups; prepare well-structured briefings that enable informed decisions
  • Mentor engineering teams on ASPICE and HW SPICE process implementation, assisting teams in interpreting findings and progressing toward greater capability levels
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's assessment methodology, including calibration of AI-assisted tooling against assessor judgment

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Automotive SPICE PAM 4.0, capable of evaluating, articulating, and supporting findings at BP and GP level
  • 10+ years of experience
  • BS or MS in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Intacs Automotive SPICE Provisional Assessor certification; Competent Assessor strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated track record in ASPICE assessments — from planning through report delivery
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills: able to present findings clearly to engineers and senior collaborators alike, and to drive structured discussion toward actionable outcomes
  • Program or project management experience, with the ability to coordinate multiple collaborative workstreams and maintain progress on improvement programs
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and ISO 8800 is essential. You will work on safety-critical programs, and an assessor who cannot navigate these standards will not support the teams well

Qualifications

  • Openness to working with AI-assisted tools as part of the assessment workflow

Skills

  • Active or prior contribution to standards working groups — intacs, VDA QMC, ISO TC22/SC32, or similar bodies
  • Certification or proven knowledge in ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, or ISO 8800 is required
  • Experience with HW SPICE 3.0 (HW Engineering PRM/PAM)
  • Experience in autonomous driving software development or testing — familiarity with the interaction of systems engineering, software engineering, and management processes in an AD program (L2 through L4)

Benefits

NVIDIA offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary ranging from $168,000 - $258,750 for Level 4 and $200,000 - $322,000 for Level 5, along with equity and benefits.
