Senior Manager, Technical Program Management

Responsibilities

• Be an owner of program management strategy and roadmap planning across our Premium product line and multiple pillars/functions within Scribd.
• Work closely with a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels of the organization, fostering strong relationships and aligning diverse perspectives.
• Dive deep into the "how" and "why" of our projects, developing comprehensive plans that align with our overarching goals.
• Guide our decision-making process and ensure we stay on the right track.
• Act as a player/coach, directly managing and mentoring a small, high-impact team.
• Ensure their work aligns with company-wide goals.
• Drive multiple complex cross-functional programs simultaneously and create scalable frameworks across orgs and functions to track work and communicate on progress.
• Proactively propose success metrics for yourself, your team, and your programs when relevant and identify when these success metrics are at risk.
• Identify and optimize for process improvements at the team and cross-team level to deliver impact to the business at a larger scale.
• Partner with the Head of TPM to help evolve the TPM craft and standards across the organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a TPM/program management, operations or equivalent role in a technology company.
• Previous experience in a people management or team lead capacity, with a track record of coaching and developing high-performing talent.
• Experience with the Software Development process, working with product and engineering teams or programs from roadmapping through delivery.
• Experience working directly with engineers, product managers, and product marketers.
• Track record of operating independently, leading through ambiguity, and navigating complex organizational dynamics.
• Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions.
• The ability to successfully work and partner across multiple functions in an organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to understand and articulate the "big picture."
• Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills.
