Hybrid$106k–$204k/yrFull-time

We are the Microsoft Global Industry Marketing team, bringing Microsoft’s agentic platform and our Intelligence + Trust value differentiation to life within each industry vertical. Our mission is to help customers navigate their AI transformation by translating Microsoft’s platform capabilities into the highest-impact, highest-value use cases that drive AI innovation and business impact. We collaborate across product, engineering, field, and partner ecosystem to accelerate customer time to AI value realization, ensuring every industry customer sees a clear, credible path from Microsoft’s technology to the outcomes that matter most in their business.

About the role

As Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager on the Global Industry Marketing team, you will lead the technical go-to-market for our priority industry use cases, building the technical assets and readiness that bring those use cases to life across the field and partner ecosystem. You will sit at the intersection of product marketing, engineering, field, and partners—turning our technical capabilities into accelerated, industry-specific value realization.

This is a build role, not a maintain role. You will define how we design industry use-case reference architectures, package and deliver industry accelerators, and scale repeatable, use-case-anchored agent patterns through the field and partners. Partnering closely with product teams (Azure, AI business solutions, Security) and Microsoft Frontier Company (Microsoft’s new operating unit focused on enterprise AI deployment outcomes), you will shape the technical narratives, bill of materials, and contextual reference architectures for priority use cases—each mapped to our platform and value differentiation and translated into outcomes customers can immediately understand and act on.

You will work with Industry CTOs and Industry Technical Product Marketers to bring that foundation to life, enabling each industry team to adapt it to their specific verticals while operating from a consistent core. As the connective tissue between Microsoft’s technical capabilities and high-value industry scenarios, you will represent the voice of the field, partners, and customers to validate what drives impact, surface gaps, and continuously refine the industry technical assets and overall go-to-market approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical Industry go-to-market (GTM) for Microsoft’s priority industry use cases; equip partner and field technical teams with technical assets, reference architectures, and industry accelerators.
  • Partner with product teams, Microsoft Frontier unit, Industry Technical PMs, and Industry CTOs to shape the technical narrative around industry use cases and accelerate customers’ time to value.
  • Drive the direction for the Industry technical bill of materials (BOM) for Agent Factory, Microsoft’s agentic platform for building, deploying, and scaling enterprise-grade AI agents; define how we deliver industry reference architectures and accelerators through hands-on technical workshops delivered via Microsoft sales teams, events, and partners.
  • Lead use-case productization through industry accelerators, packaging priority use cases into reusable technical documentation that partners and field teams can readily adopt.
  • Enable each industry team to operate from a consistent core while adapting the approach to fit each industry’s reality.
  • Collaborate with commercial sales, solution sales, and partner teams to ensure technical assets align with the customer buying journey and the realities of the field motion.
  • Work with industry customers, partners, and field teams to validate which technical assets have the greatest impact and refine our approach accordingly.
  • Measure adoption and impact of industry technical assets (reference architectures, technical workshops, accelerators) and continuously evolve the portfolio based on field and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or related field AND 3+ years of experience in business, or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or related field AND 5+ years of experience in business, or equivalent experience.

Skills

  • Demonstrated technical depth across cloud, data, and AI, including agentic AI platforms, copilots, and modern AI architectures (e.g., Foundry, Copilot Studio, Fabric, Agent 365).
  • Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into customer-relevant use cases, reference architectures, and technical workshops that resonate with both business and technical buyers.
  • Solid understanding of the commercial sales process and how technical assets (reference architectures, accelerators, technical workshops) move opportunities through the funnel.
  • Experience building technical GTM readiness: reference architectures, solution accelerators, technical workshops, technical playbooks.
  • Industry knowledge in one or more verticals (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Public Sector) is a strong plus.
  • Experience working with Industry CTOs, Technical PMs, solution architects, or partner technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills—able to credibly engage both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience operating in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments with the ability to influence without authority.
