Senior Technical Product Manager - Underwriting Platform

About the role

We are seeking a collaborative, data-driven Senior Technical Product Manager – Underwriting Platform to lead and scale the technology powering our customer onboarding and underwriting platform. In this role, you will drive platform capabilities to maximize loan approval rates, effectively aligning technical solutions with risk strategies and business goals. The ideal candidate will manage the roadmap responsible for driving new customer acquisition and activation, optimizing decisioning, and integrating advanced identity and credit data services.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute platform strategies that drive measurable outcomes across sign-up, loan approvals, and activation while balancing risk.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Credit, and Fraud teams to build scalable, compliant, and performant onboarding and lending platform capabilities.
• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled product capabilities, workflows, and automation opportunities that improve customer onboarding experiences and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Risk to deliver low-code platform features that accelerate business responsiveness to changing business, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Product Management experience, including experience supporting fintech, payments, lending, or financial services platforms.
• Proven experience owning onboarding, activation, or growth-focused product initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Strong technical fluency with the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams on APIs, platform architecture, and technical tradeoffs.
• Demonstrated ability to use data, experimentation, and business metrics to inform prioritization and product decisions.
• Strong understanding of experimentation methodologies including A/B testing, cohort analysis, and growth optimization frameworks.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Design, Analytics, and Data Science stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled product capabilities, including the ability to evaluate AI use cases within customer onboarding and growth experiences.

Pay

The annual base Pay Range for this position is $133,000 - $165,000. This range reflects our US national compensation band (USN). Additional premium percentages may apply based on our tiered premium strategy. The total compensation package may also include other elements, such as a bonus and/or commission awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
