About the role
The Senior Technical Product Manager leads the Requirements and Safety workstreams within the Technical Product Management (TPM) Team. This role serves as a conduit between Engineering, Safety, and other critical functions, ensuring timely design and implementation of E/E systems. The TPM Team drives alignment through a technology roadmap, accelerating corporate milestones by focusing development teams on critical items.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize needs for Requirements and Safety workstreams, collaborating with other TPMs and engineering leaders.
- Represent these areas to build cross-functional plans, define and verify acceptance criteria, drive alignment, and deliver workstream outcomes on the Technology Roadmap to enable critical product milestones.
- Vigilantly work to reconcile gaps in timelines, focus leadership attention, and proactively address dependencies, risks, and change management.
- Apply best practices in program management and engineering expertise to report status to leadership, initiate escalations, and drive timely execution on the Technology Roadmap including its dependencies, risks, and changes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Technical Program Manager in autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or similar industries.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field, or Master’s Degree with relevant experience.
- A strong track record of driving execution of cross-functional programs and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience managing a cross-functional roadmap, including dependencies, risks, and change management.
- Strong active listening, negotiation, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to different audiences.
- The desire to grow technical and program skillsets in an evolving industry.
Bonus Points
- Experience in the Autonomous Vehicle Industry.
- Experience designing and releasing to safety standards.
- Experience integrating safety case, requirements, and acceptance criteria into Systems and SW design.
- Experience leading a team to a production launch.
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.

Pay
$177,300 - $212,800 USD
