Senior Technical Marketing Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will serve as a key technical bridge between product, field teams, and customers, helping translate complex networking capabilities into clear business and deployment value. You will lead proof-of-value engagements, build and maintain sophisticated lab environments, and support technical escalation resolution to help accelerate customer decisions. The position also includes creating high-quality technical content and delivering training that enables sales and systems engineering teams to deploy with confidence. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $143,500 – $205,000 annually Responsibilities Lead hands-on customer proof-of-value engagements to validate technical capabilities and accelerate deal closure Architect and maintain advanced lab environments to rigorously test product behavior and interoperability Drive technical troubleshooting and escalation resolution between field teams and engineering Author comprehensive technical documentation, including deployment guides and reference architectures Deliver high-impact training programs for Systems Engineers and partners to enhance deployment self-sufficiency Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in technical marketing, solutions architecture, or advanced systems engineering with deep expertise in enterprise networking protocols Proven track record of leading customer proof-of-value pilots in complex networking environments Hands-on proficiency in building and maintaining multi-vendor network lab topologies using various platforms Advanced packet analysis and troubleshooting skills with tools like Wireshark and tcpdump Demonstrated ability to author production-grade technical documentation and deliver training sessions Benefits Various health plans Time off plans for vacation and sick time Parental leave options Retirement options Education reimbursement In-office perks, and more!
