About the role
In the role of Senior Technical Implementation Consultant, you will serve as a primary integration interface with client tax professionals, leading business and user requirements sessions and formulating them into design and solution documentation for integration.
- Assist in the analysis and delivery of Oracle integration implementations that reflect an in-depth understanding of the client’s tax requirements and compliance process.
- Engage with other Thomson Reuters teams to deliver end-to-end Indirect Tax integration solutions, ensuring all Indirect tax-related requirements are met.
- Explain ONESOURCE Integration for Oracle-related issues, problems, and solutions to non-tax and technical staff.
- Work with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE integration solutions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to drive the growth of the product and solutions.
- Install and configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for Oracle.
- Operate within a controlled project management environment.
- Support Pre-sales on prospects and bid development.
- Work with functional and technical colleagues to deliver the implementation.
Requirements
- Technical experience implementing Oracle and/or add-on solutions with external tax engines.
- 5+ years of work experience, with at least 3 of those years working with Oracle ERP.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues caused when multiple add-ons are installed.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving Oracle system issues.
- Experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and re-engineering.
- Experience with process/software gap analysis and resolution.
- Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Working experience within the Oracle application.
- Oracle programming capabilities.
- Knowledge of APIs, Webservices (SOAP & REST), and XML.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Up to 10% travel is expected.
Skills
Highly Desirable (not Required):
Tax and Financial:
- Experience configuring transaction taxes and related master data within Oracle.
- Experience integrating third-party enterprise tax products (e.g., ONESOURCE Determination, ONESOURCE Compliance, Avalara, Sovos, CCH, Sabrix, Taxware, and/or Vertex).
- Financial work experience or related degree.
Technical:
- Ability to write/modify existing integration software and integrate software applications/modules in accordance with agreed-upon specifications.
- Create and execute unit testing to ensure software meets requirements.
- Object-Oriented Programming.
- Oracle Certification.

Pay
The base compensation range for this role is $94,900 USD - $176,300 USD, positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on enterprise and individual performance.
