For our client, a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space, we are seeking a Senior Technical Director to lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. This role involves collaboration across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities in a mission-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Set and oversee the technical strategy across various health pillars and allocate resources accordingly.
- Sign off on technical deliverables and workplans prior to donor submission.
- Resolve technical disputes and ensure adherence to current guidance.
- Build evidence-based resources through portfolio implementation and publications.
- Direct technical responses for urgent and complex project situations.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Medicine, Epidemiology, or Health Systems.
- 12+ years of relevant project management experience, or 9 years with PhD; 8+ years in leadership roles.
- Extensive experience managing complex portfolios on national or international scales.
- Experience in leading teams and managing financial and human resources in NGOs.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and program implementation methodologies.
Pay
$160,000 – $190,000 annually.
