Senior Technical Consultant – Spatial Intelligence & Solution Delivery
About the role
The Senior Technical Consultant – Spatial Intelligence & Solution Delivery leads the design, configuration, and delivery of GIS solutions using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise. They architect and deliver applications including Experience Builder apps, dashboards, web maps, Instant Apps, StoryMaps, and Survey123 workflows. They lead spatial data modeling, digitizing standards, data cleanup, QA and QC, and schema design. They design and deliver ETL workflows, data pipelines, and integrations between GIS, databases, and enterprise systems. They apply AI-enabled workflows and decision-support systems to real-world client challenges. They lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, and solution design discussions. They serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients. They review and QA work produced by associate and mid-level team members. They troubleshoot complex issues across GIS, data, automation, and integrated systems. They ensure solutions meet performance, security, reliability, and maintainability expectations. They prepare and review technical documentation and client deliverables. They support project planning, estimation, and delivery coordination. They mentor and support the professional growth of junior team members. They stay current with emerging spatial, automation, AI, and enterprise technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of GIS solutions using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise
- Architect and deliver applications including Experience Builder apps, dashboards, web maps, Instant Apps, StoryMaps, and Survey123 workflows
- Lead spatial data modeling, digitizing standards, data cleanup, QA and QC, and schema design
- Design and deliver ETL workflows, data pipelines, and integrations between GIS, databases, and enterprise systems
- Apply AI-enabled workflows and decision-support systems to real-world client challenges
- Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, and solution design discussions
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients
- Review and QA work produced by associate and mid-level team members

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience delivering GIS and spatial technology solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise
- Experience designing and delivering Experience Builder apps, dashboards, web maps, and Survey123 workflows
- Experience with spatial data modeling, schema design, and QA and QC practices
- Experience building or supporting automation, integrations, or data pipelines
- Experience explaining technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery and client engagements
- Ability to travel 20 to 30 percent for workshops, deployments, and client engagement
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with Power Automate, Python, JavaScript, SQL, ETL tools, REST services, APIs, or system integrations
- Familiarity with IT and cybersecurity considerations such as access control, data protection, and system reliability
- Experience mentoring junior staff or leading technical workstreams
- Experience working with government, utilities, or infrastructure-focused organizations
