Senior Technical Consultant
About the role
As a Sr. Technical Consultant you will play an important role working as a technical subject matter expert in a wide variety of SaaS technologies within the Professional Services line of business. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will work closely with internal and external consultants and technology experts to implement, upgrade, and configure various solutions in our sales engagement platform. This role will play a key part in our expanding AI initiatives, supporting customers in enabling and configuring AI capabilities within our platform. You will also act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations adopt and operationalize AI to drive measurable business value.
The success of this role will be measured by the overall business impact, client adoption of technology best practices, and quality of platform setup conducted by the consultant.

The Technical Consulting Practice is made up of leading experts on Outreach, CRM, and sales technologies who bring innovation to implementation each and every day. As a vital part of our onboarding and optimization processes, the technical consulting team ensures our customers utilize Outreach to the fullest technical potential while adhering to best practices.
Qualifications
- Experienced Technical Consultant - 4-5 years of experience working in a SaaS consulting role, with at least 2 years of experience in a technical or support role
- Technical Aptitude - Mastering new technologies and technical skills quickly and efficiently
- Consultant & Trusted Advisor - Ability to discover the “how” and “why” of proposed solutions to determine feasibility and suggest alternatives
- Strategic Problem Solver - Collaborating with teammates and enterprise level customers to solve difficult problems
- Exceptional Communication Skills - Successfully collaborating with client contacts at all levels of the organization chart and translating complex technical topics into language that can be understood by non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to speak with expert knowledge about a broad spectrum of technical topics including APIs, CRM Integration, security, privacy, and integrations
- Exposure to AI-enabled technologies (e.g., AI-driven workflows, copilots, predictive analytics, or automation features) with ability to configure, enable, or support AI functionality
- Familiarity with front-end and back-end development technologies
- Admin certification with a CRM, such as Salesforce or Dynamics, or another SaaS platform
- Track record of leading with optimism to help others persevere in difficult situations
- Expertise in working with a Sales Engagement Platform
- History of working with internal Product or Engineering teams to improve product features and capabilities
Pay
The base salary range for this role is $115,000-$135,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, location and experience. Final offers are determined through a holistic assessment and will vary within the posted range.
Schedule
Your daily adventures will include managing and executing on implementations & projects for customers, performing detailed discovery with customers around their CRM usage and translating that to Outreach integration functionality, being a subject matter expert on a multitude of Outreach technologies, acting as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, partnering with Program & Project Managers, Professional Services Consultants, Trainers, and customer stakeholders to successfully drive projects to completion, distilling information from a variety of sources to inform complex configuration setup, exploring all relevant client processes to build successful integrations, supporting the adoption of AI-enabled workflows, collaborating with client technical experts to establish a thorough configuration testing plan.
