Senior Technical Consultant – ArcGIS Enterprise | TS/SCI

Join Esri`s Professional Services team and work directly with Defense customers to design and implement mission-critical ArcGIS Enterprise solutions. As a Senior Technical Consultant, you`ll combine deep ArcGIS expertise with customer consulting skills to understand operational challenges, design geospatial workflows, configure enterprise solutions, and guide customers toward successful implementation and adoption. You`ll operate as a trusted technical resource in a customer embedded environment, working across ArcGIS, enterprise technology, integrations, automation, and secure Defense environments. Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the Quantico, VA area for this position. This position would be onsite with a customer at Quantico. Responsibilities Translate customer mission and business needs into geospatial solutionsDesign and implement enterprise GIS workflowsConfigure and optimize ArcGIS capabilitiesAdvise customers on platform best practicesDevelop and present complex GIS demonstrationsIntegrate ArcGIS with enterprise technology environmentsUse scripting and automation to support solution deliveryCollaborate directly with customer IT and mission stakeholdersGuide technical implementation and adoption Requirements 8+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilitiesEagerness to work closely with customers to solve interesting problemsProfessional experience designing, implementing, and/or administrating enterprise GIS solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS platform (desktop, server, and on-line)Proven experience leveraging Esri's software capabilities including mapping, field operations, spatial analysis and data science, 3D visualization and analytics, data management, and developer APIsPro-actively craft and propose solutions that clarify how GIS brings business value to address critical business challenges faced by customers, specifically in the Defense and Intel domainAdvanced ArcGIS Platform Configuration skillsAdvanced Programming and scripting experience with Python, Arcade, and/or HTML/JavaScriptKnowledge in modeling and managing logical and topological network dataSystem administration experience on WindowsActive TS Security Clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related field Recommended Qualifications CompTIA Security+ certificationMaster's degree in geography, computer science, mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or STEM related fieldDomain experience around Defense and Intelligence content workflowsExperience with current technology implementation patterns, including service-oriented and cloud computing architectureSystem administration experience on Linux and KubernetesExperience taking systems through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processUnderstanding of IT integration concepts such as databases, web services, webhooks, mobile devices configurations, web browsers, IT system architecture concepts Total RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
